1. The Service
CalFlow (calflow.dev) is a scheduling platform. It lets you (a "host") publish booking pages, accept free and paid bookings from your clients ("attendees"), sell digital products through a storefront, and collaborate with teammates in team workspaces. These terms are an agreement between you and CalFlow. By creating an account or booking through a CalFlow page, you accept them. If you use CalFlow on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts & Acceptable Use
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not use CalFlow to break the law, infringe intellectual property, send spam, distribute malware, harass others, sell prohibited goods or services, or interfere with the platform's operation or other users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
3. Plans, Billing & Auto-Renewal
Paid plans are billed as monthly subscriptions and renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. If we change our prices, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies to your subscription. Failed payments may result in downgrade or suspension of paid features.
4. Platform Fee
For paid bookings and storefront sales, CalFlow retains a platform fee of 10% of each transaction. The remaining amount is paid out to the host via Stripe. The platform fee is deducted automatically at the time of the transaction and is separate from any subscription fees or Stripe processing fees.
5. Refunds
When an attendee cancels a paid booking, the payment is automatically refunded in full to the attendee. Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Refunds for storefront purchases or disputes between hosts and attendees outside the automatic cancellation flow are the host's responsibility.
6. Host Content & Responsibilities
Hosts own the content they publish on CalFlow — event descriptions, storefront products, uploaded files — and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to run the service. Hosts are solely responsible for delivering the services and products they sell, for the accuracy of their listings, and for complying with laws that apply to their business (including tax obligations). CalFlow is a platform that facilitates scheduling and payments; it is not a party to the transaction between a host and their client, and it does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of host services.
7. Payment Processing via Stripe
All payments on CalFlow are processed by Stripe. To receive payouts, hosts must connect a Stripe account and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, including the Stripe Terms of Service. CalFlow does not store card numbers. Payouts, chargebacks, and identity verification are subject to Stripe's processes, and we may share information with Stripe as required to provide payment services.
8. Termination
You may stop using CalFlow and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abuse of the platform, non-payment, or where required by law — where practical, we will give you notice first. On termination, your booking pages and storefront become unavailable, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (fees owed, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, disputes) survive termination.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
CalFlow is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalFlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from these terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid to CalFlow in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
Hosts agree to indemnify and hold CalFlow harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the services or products they sell through the platform, the content they publish, their dealings with attendees, or their violation of these terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City to be confirmed], India. Before filing a claim, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in your dashboard before the changes take effect. Continuing to use CalFlow after the effective date of updated terms means you accept them; if you do not agree, you should stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
